Describe your idea: Include linked data support in all your projects – either exposing RDF directly (perhaps as RDFa) or via a SPARQL endpoint.
See http://esw.w3.org/topic/SweoIG/TaskForces/CommunityProjects/LinkingOpenData/
What problem does it solve?: Exposes data directly to the Web, allowing easier reuse and mashups. More interoperable than proprietary APIs.
Hi Danny,
Thanks for this suggestion. We’re in the process of working to open up the data we hold, including through APIs and RDF. Our first priority is to get the data in the public domain (in whichever format we can). Once we’ve done that, we can start looking at opening it up in various other, potentially more useful, formats.
Regards,
Dafydd
